The Invisalign system works by scanning your mouth with an iTero Element scanner. The radiation-free process captures 6000 frames per second, providing orthodontists with highly detailed images of your teeth and gums. These digital images can be instantly displayed on a chair-side monitor, which promotes notably improved interactions between you and your orthodontist and a more efficient Invisalign treatment.

From the iTero Element scan, your orthodontist can then create a customized Invisalign plan for you. Then, a specialized SmartTrack material is used to fabricate the clear aligner trays. These smooth, comfortable trays feature tiny attachment slots molded into the plastic, which are used to apply targeted force to exactly where your orthodontist wants it.
